Monday Update:
| The fire burned 360 acres, 8 homes, 1 motor home, Verizon cel towers and cable TV system. 1 homeowner suffered smoke inhalation. Could have been worse! But bad enough. Barry "Poki" |
| We had a wild fire about 8 miles from the resort this week. Lots of smoke and ash. Couldn't take the puppy outside due to the choking smoke. Lost power for about 4 hours. They had so many aircraft in the air fighting the fire...looked like an air show. Picture really doesn't show how much smoke we got though. |

N.W or Aguanga is Vail Lake which is less than 6 miles from the resort making the fire about 3 miles....Way too close! |
