Jeanelle's Green Chili Enchiladas and Seven Layer Dessert Bars

 

Jeanelle's (WG-Victoria) Green Chili Enchiladas

 

1 Can Green Chili Enchilada Sauce

Shredded Cheese

½ Jar Chili Con Queso

Corn Tortillas

Hamburger Meat

Salt, pepper, garlic powder

 

  1. Saute onions in skillet. Add hamburger, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and brown meat.
  2. Pour green chili enchilada sauce into casserole dish. Dip soft tortillas in sauce, add meat and chili con queso inside tortillas and roll up.
  3. Top with shredded cheese.
  4. Cook in oven 350 degrees about 20 minutes.

 

Seven Layer Bars

1 stick butter (1/4 pound)

1 C. graham cracker crumbs

1 C. flaked coconut

One 6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips

One 6-oz. pkg. butterscotch chips

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 cup nuts

Place melted butter in a 13 X 9-inch pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Add ingredients in layers as listed. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. until light brown around the edges. Cool and cut into squares.
